Forgotten Thursday (and Friday)
Good afternoon,
Just for the sake of completeness, here's what we got up to on Thursday...
...only about half of us got injured with the hockey sticks...
...and as for Friday...
There's 500 points up for grabs if you write a quick story about this. 1000 if it's a good one!
See you on Monday.

He Is Risen...
...He is risen indeed!
Good afternoon,
Today, as well as other bits and pieces...
...we began some Ressurection art, inspired by the displays in the office.
...which we will continue over the next few days.

Holy Thursday
Good afternoon,
And a lovely afternoon it has turned out to be too.
As well as a touch of reading...
(sorry for the background noise...I may need a boom operator to get the mic closer...)
...we also enjoyed a excellent wee Easter Liturgy in the hall.
Well done one and all.
Have a blessed and holy weekend.

Rawa Wera Ratu (Very Hot Tuesday)
Ahiahi mārie (Good afternoon),
And what an afternoon it is. Very wera (hot). Which may have been mistakenly expressed as wera nui (big hot?). Opps!
Ah well, 'twas glorious anyhow.
A great day for some reading inside (with air conditioning)...
...and for hockey outside.
And a good time was had by all.
Oh, and we finished that Holy Week activity...
We caluclated the days based on the recognition that the Greek word translated as "sabbath" in Matthew 28:1 σαββατων is actually "sabbaths", that Passover (an annual "special" sabbath day - on the 14th of Nissan each year) was on the Friday (followed by the weekly sabbath day, Saturday), so Jesus must have been crucified on the Thursday. That also fits the "he rose again on the third day" of scripture (1 Corinthians 15:3). He died Thursday, rose again on the third day after his death - Friday, Saturday...the early hours of Sunday morning.
